Content
The annual systemic design conference “RSD - Relating Systems Thinking and Design” is this year offered as a physical conference at OCAD University in Toronto, Canada. The conference has a hybrid format where a majority of presentations and talk is streamed online.

For those participating online and not wanting to travel to North America, we offer a hybrid format at MVI to mingle between selected virtual screenings, our own presentations and dialogues to hold online, and in-person dialogues, reflections and systemic design practice at and around the MVI campus.

Over time, MVI campus has established itself as a pyhsical hub accompanying the main RSD conferences.

What you learn
Systemic design in theory, in practice, in its place-specifity. Dialects and frameworks, people and community, reflections on your own endeavors. All of this in a community of like-minded pals in a nurturing mountain environment.

Structure
We find easy days with some joint and individual online participation in the conference from a joint screening space. We dialogue on hikes, during co-designed (outdoor) activities, while having a bbq on the open fire, or simply reflect with space for individual rhythms and breaks.

For whom?
Those who like to participate in RSD, be part of the systemic design discourse, development, and community, and who won’t travel to Canada yet like to join a hybrid version of an in-person gathering.

DRRS elective?
Yes, counting for 1 ECTS if at least one of the MOOCs has been taken and if accompanied by a written-graphical report with a potential selection as a DRRS blog publication, plus your personal learning reflection, to be submitted after the course.

The participation fee will be communicated by end of February ‘25. DRRS CAS alumni, students and those in need are eligible for a substituted course fee.
